Diagrams 2016 will be held from August 7th to August 10th, 2016 at the beautiful Chubb Hotel and Conference Center, (formerly the ACE Conference Center) located in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. The conference center offers full accommodations in a scenic setting. Wolfgang Puck catering ensures that meals will be fresh and delicious. The nearby train station makes it easy to explore Philadelphia if you're so inclined.

Directions to Chubb Hotel and Conference Center

Philadelphia International Airport is the closest major airport to the conference venue. From the airport, the conference center can be reached by train or car. Please see directions below.

Train

(Please note that the regional train schedules are currently in flux, and are being modified every few weeks due to a shortage of railcars. It is recommended to recheck your planned train schedule, and to give yourself extra time.)

In summary, the 3 steps to Diagrams 2016:
Step 1: Take Regional Rail from PHL Airport to Center City Philadelphia.
Step 2: Switch trains, and take Regional Rail from Center City Philadelphia to Miquon Station.
Step 3: Call Conference Venue for free pick-up and transportation between Miquon Station and Conference Venue.

By Train from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Center City Philadelphia:

  • SEPTA (http://www.septa.org) is the local public transportation authority.
  • Regional Rail Airport Line trains run from the PHL Airport to Center City Philadelphia daily from 5am to midnight, departing every 20-30 minutes.
  • Travel time to Center City Philadelphia is between 17-30 minutes.
  • Take the train to any of the following three Center City Philadelphia stations: 30th Street Station, Suburban Station, or Jefferson Station.
  • Switch trains to the Manayunk/Norristown Line (see below).

By Train from Philadelphia Center City to Miquon Station:

  • SEPTA (http://www.septa.org) is the local public transportation authority.
  • Take the Regional Rail Manayunk/Norriston Line from any of the three Center City Philadelphia train stations (30th Street Station, Suburban Station, or Jefferson Station).
  • The train runs every hour on weekends, and every half hour on weekdays.
  • Miquon is the destination stop, which is a 25-35 minute ride depending on your origin.
  • See below for directions to Chubb Hotel and Conference Center.

From Miquon Station to Chubb Hotel and Conference Center:

  • It is 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) between Miquon Station and the Chubb Hotel and Conference Center.
  • A free, courtesy shuttle bus from the Chubb Hotel and Conference Center is available for transportation from Miquon Station.
  • Walking to Chubb Hotel and Conference Center is not recommended because of limited sidewalks along the path.

Shuttle Pick-Up from Miquon Station (free)

  • The Conference Center provides complimentary shuttle service from the Miquon stop. After boarding the Manayunk/Norriston Line from Center City Philadelphia, please call at least 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled arrival time.
  • Please call the venue at (610) 825-8000 to arrange shuttle pick-up from the train station.

Train Tickets and Cost

You can use a via Center City Philadelphia Regional Rail ticket, $9.00, at all times, when your Regional Rail travel requires you to pass through Center City Philadelphia, whether on the same train or a connecting train. (Tickets available for $8.50 if purchased in advance at station or online at Shop.SEPTA.org)

Shuttle Service from the Airport

For attendees wishing to travel directly from the airport to the conference center, a shuttle vendor is available for transportation arrangements.

Please visit: http://www.chubbconferencecenter.com/transportation/ to arrange for shuttle pick-up from the airport to the Conference Center, at least 48 hours in advance of arrival.
